Additional Draglade Information
|
In the world of Draglade, Grapping has become the world's premier spectator sport. Scientists will discover how to turn atmospheric Matter into energy. Soon thereafter, a means of harnessing this energy G-Cons- will allow for the conversion of this power into a weapon called a "Glade". When a glade hits something, it emits a sound. Fighters and entertainers quickly realized the potential of Grapping, as the music generated by the clashing Glades in combat provided an experience that couldn't be matched in any other sport.

What Customers Say About Draglade:

If you can get this game on sale (it's $10 right now, don't know how long that will last), I recommend it, but I wouldn't pay full price. Any game where I can play the Mexican Hat Dance by beating up opponents has some novelty to it.However, don't expect anything too deep. This game is really more of a side-scrolling brawler with RPG-style dialogue and character building than a fighting/music game. The only time when music comes into play is when activating your custom combo, where you have to tap out the beats to a tune with the light attack button. The thing that makes this game original is that between fights you can change the tune and make it anything you want it to be.
The "training" section is almost non-existant. After the first half-hour of play, I'm ready to resell this one. Long-long inane dialog sections, bad music, and dull fights.I expected more up-tempo songs, and fighting in tune to them.
